This summer, MVA is teaming up with the Creative Cabin to create a creative haven for young artists ages 9 to 14. At this boutique-style music camp, students will write, co-write, record, and perform original music under the guidance of acclaimed songwriter and instructor Melody Molinaro.
Throughout the week, ‘creative campers’ will be immersed in a supportive, confidence-building environment designed to nurture creativity and collaboration. They will experience the full songwriting journey, from shaping lyrics and melodies to preparing for live performance. Co-writing sessions encourage teamwork, creative risk-taking,
and the discovery of each child’s unique artistic voice.

Beyond music, the cabin setting offers intentional creative downtime, including experiences
with a petting zoo, horse-themed art such as actual hands on painting on a horse! and open-air
inspiration that connects nature and imagination. The boutique environment fosters small-group
attention, meaningful mentorship, and space for authentic self-expression.

The week culminates in a live performance on a nearby professional stage, Mountain View
Amphitheater, where songwriters showcase their original work for family and friends. It is more
than a camp. It is a transformative creative experience that empowers young artists to find their
voice and share it boldly.
